Piergallini Trucking LLC is looking for a driven and organized CDL Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Cadiz, OH. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily fleet operations to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery
- Monitor driver schedules, routes, and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Communicate with drivers to provide routing updates, load assignments, and support
- Track vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate fleet records including driver logs, inspections, and DOT documentation
- Liaise with customers, shippers, and receivers to confirm load details and resolve issues
- Assist in ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred or strong CDL/trucking industry background
- Prior experience in fleet coordination, dispatching, or transportation logistics
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations, HOS rules, and FMCSA compliance
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with drivers, customers, and management
- Proficiency with fleet management software, TMS platforms, or dispatch tools
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions
